The only one priced at $0.99 that I'm really interested in is Garters and Ghouls which received terrible reviews, but seems like it could be much better after the update. Can anyone comment on the quality of it since its update? I've got just about every other dual-stick shooter there is.

No, not all. Pac-Man, Mrs. Pac-Man, I Love Katamari, Dr. Kawashima, Pole Position, etc are $2.99 Still a good deal though.
Well, Garters & Ghouls was a good buy at $0.99. Pretty fun and addictive gameplay if you like dual shooters.

Galaga Remix is a very good game for me. Shooting is very responsive, the graphics are great. I have not played the Time Crisis, but will likely get it. The main complaints in the discussion seem to center around the length of the game - at $0.99 a short game is not a big deal. I picked up Dig Dug Remix. Hopefully it will be done as well as the Mr. Driller was.
