Gentlemen, We would like to collect the feedback from the members of this forum to improve ARDefender. This game is not our first AR project, we have one much bigger, much more ambitious game that will be released on iPhone in about six months. ARDefender was planned to be really simple, a kind of appetizer, but now we feel that we should push it a bit further, extend it's gameplay and make sure that everyone who bought the game is happy with it. So, as I've said before we would like to collect your suggestions, and recruit some testers, who will receive ad-hoc copies of 1.x releases before they're submitted on the AppStore so we can iterate on the game as efficiently as possible. I don't personally spend a lot of time on the forums here, so I don't know if it's common usage. Now if you feel that you have some time in your hands to help us make this game better, please apply here What is already planned for the next release (friday) : - Game Center - German & Spanish - Some bug fixes Retina support is also on it's way, but we don't know yet if it will be packaged with the next release.
Sweet! Yes forums are a very effective form of communication. I would only add additional content from that point. Free and/or DLC for different tower/enemy themes, more enemies in general, bosses, more weapons, and weapon/tower upgrades.
Nice to see you on the forums here! what I'd like to see is upgrades and stuff wich you can buy with virtual money you earn from killing enemys. -Upgrades for the towers weapons -Upgrades for the towers defences (so that there's like a small wall arround the castle or something, then maybe the next update is a mini auto defense system where on each corner of the tower there is a tiny mashine gun that does a little damage, doesn't shoot verry far but doesen't require you to aim) -Abillity to purchase ammo for the weapons -pay with the virtual cash to unlock new weapons other stuff I'd like: -spechial attacks: for when you're really not doing well (spechial attacks should be purchaseabable in the shop): - 15 seconds with autoturrets - 15 seconds with a defence chopper - randomly placed mines - Slowmotion - unlimited rockets for 15 seconds - unlimited laser for 15 seconds - (same for other weapons if more get added) - heat seeking missiles for 15 seconds: No need to aim your rockets for the next 15 seconds - friendly tank: a tank comes to help you, but it can get destroyed by the enemys - Nuke (kills all enemys on screen, maybe changes the colors of the camera or something?)
More weapons and enemies, PLEASE! The only things I really want are: -Bosses/More Enemies -Leaderboards -More weapons -Upgrades Aside from that, everything is done well.
v1.1 testing I've seen some very nice ideas here. But many of them will take more time to be implemented, new enemies and boss won't appear this week, but it will be on the top of the list for the next upgrade. I'd like to get your feedback on the upcoming 1.1 release before we submit it to Apple next Monday. For this to happen I need to collect a few UDID numbers, so I'll be able to send you an ad-hoc version of the game.
I am in, awaiting build I have many ideas for this game. Also could we have any info on this game that will be out in 6 months? Also will you use the same testers fir that game?
I'll test, but I want to know if I'll need to jailbreak my iPod first, because I'd rather not jailbreak it unless I have to.

Okay, I'll enter. I have an iPod Touch 4th Gen with iOS 4.1. @Stephc_int13: Do I need to PM you, or will you PM me? BTW: I would like better support in low-light conditions, because my iPod has trouble playing it unless I'm playing it outside or I have a lamp pointed at the paper.
I would love to help beta test future versions of this game - this is the neatest AR game I've played yet and I'd love to help make it better! DM me if you still need any beta testers, I've got an iPhone 4 ready and waiting to help.
