Hm, so I'm building a crit team around my Snow Queen and I was wondering why I see Castellan mentioned a lot in this thread but not Rose Red? Rose Red seems like the same passive with no alignment requirements and a better evolved active? Also, a question about Midas, does he boost everyone's area attack 60% or just his own? And what does Merlin's "50% increase to combo rate" boost mean?

 

Castellan is farmable, Rose Red requires getting lucky at the REM.

Midas boosts everybody's area attack.

Merlin's increase to combo rate means that your combo grows that much faster. So, for instance, for a 10 combo, your bonus would now be considered as if it were a 15 combo. For Merlin's evolved passive, it would be considered as if it were at 20 combo.

It's a pretty significant bonus, especially when healing is involved.

Wonder what Blue Merlin's skills would have been. Too bad he's never coming out. =\

 

Any idea who you found that with? AFAIK, King Arthur was not in the game last time I went through the game files, much less his evolved version. Did you manage to get him into a dungeon?

I got the dragon phenix in my team leader, you can use it to complete quest(he is lvl 60).

Phoenix prince pretty much impossible to beat without Crystal Phoenix.
I beat the prince by having 2 pheonix, one I drew from oracle, the other from a borrowed leader.
The prince's 4x or 6x damage is really powerful, almost like an extra area attack every turn.
