Hey guys, I'm an iPhone developer, and GlitchSoft (the company I work for) has recently just released their first iPhone game, BarStar (http://www.barstargame.com/). However, we want to start making our second game, but we don't know what we want to make. We were thinking of leaning more towards a "turn based strategy game" (i.e. Jagged Alliance and Fallout) rather than "time management" (i.e. BarStar, Diner Dash). Since YOU guys are the ones who will be playing the game, what kind of games (themes, genres) do you want to see? Let us know, we're opened to any suggestions! Thanks!
Jagged Alliance 2 and the Fallout series are definitely some of best games ever produced. Something like that would be excellent - especially if it were to take place in an early cyberpunk setting.
Me too, would love to be involved. I mean, we could have different themed maps parodying pop culture etc in a GTA vein but thru SSMB style minigames. Maybe an Australia parody, US parody, Europe parody, Asia parody. Or themed around genres: sci fi board / film noir or crime or suspense / horror board. Minigames would be unique to each board and may revolve around similar mechanics but still be different in various elements. And when I say in a GTA vein, there could be commentary/radio/ads or whatever which may then become the basis of minigames.
Something like Fallout would be awesome...even if it was like the original isometric Fallout. I'd also like to see another game like gemmd. (this match 3 is unique).
I would love to see a Monster Rancher type game. Where you raise and battle monsters. Something that would allow you to try and collect monsters that you would either get from winning fights or from exploration missions. That or a hunting game where you would hunt monsters. You would go to various locations and try to hunt and capture creatures like vampires, yeti, werewolves, mummies, swamp creatures, etc...
