Anybody knows what is happening with Game Center? It looks like it that improved or new scores stay local to my device only (and disappear after a short while). For games that I started playing the last days, I even appear as the only player (again, for a short while) and these are popular games seeing the forums, it's not that I'm really the only one playing.
From August 18 to now all leaderboards from all games are frozen to me. Only are functioning the friends requests and the friends last played games.
What in a sense is curious is that for example Achievements do work, meaning they don't disappear (for those who think Ah that guy must have simple connectivity problems). Other parts of the GC app work too, like "Friends, Recent" shows what my friends have been playing last. So as kra observes too, it is only the leaderboards having issues. Very weird.
Well, I must say...THIS SUCKS! This is one of the main incentives for me to play most of my iOS games.
I really hope that Apple can fix it soon. In some other games, I still see the leaderboards with few peoples like I'm using a GC on Sandbox.
Could be that Apple is preparing something for iOS 8 related to the game center. That's the only thing I can think of. Just a guess though.
Let's hope it doesn't take until iOS8 is released before it's fixed. Remeber the achievement issues a while back that took several months to fix? This must be a killer for developers of newly-released high score chasers.
I had the person access GameCenter and their own leaderboards are unavailable but they still haven't given me any kind of viable answer.
Leaderboards are back again, but continue not updating (only show my local scrores for a while and then disappear) [disgruntled] APPLE WAKE UP!
