Titled The Nameless App, the sequel is available today on iPhone/iPod touch, priced ¥800. The premise is similar to the original. You play as someone who's downloaded a cursed 2D RPG on their cellphone that promises your death within one week unless you manage to clear it. The sequel adds 3D sound, Twitter connectivity, and a new system which shows a virtual OS slowly get eaten away as the curse progresses. Premise Rumors have been circulating about a cursed role-playing video game; anyone who plays it and does not complete it dies seven days after starting. You are one of the victims playing the game; having started playing it several days after your friend recommended it to you. Starting that day strange things happens to you; everything you experience in the game resembles something in real life, and so-on. Gameplay The series typically provides two separate modes of play. Most of the game is spent in the exploration mode, in which the player moves around environments solving puzzles and avoiding cursed spirits that roam the area. Periodically the exploration mode is interrupted by the RPG / platformer mode, played on the players virtual cellphone. In this mode, the player plays a 2D 8-bit RPG (the "cursed" game) that provides clues to the current exploration mode puzzles and advances the plot. As you near the answers to its existence the RPG mode becomes ever more corrupted in its visuals, sound and design as the curse slowly eats away at it and yourself.
Too many punchlines for this one. "You play as someone who's downloaded a cursed 2D RPG on their cellphone..." Oh, Zynga makes 2D RPGs now? (easy punchline) The non-cursed version isn't coming to iOS, and Gameloft's copycats are never perfect... (average punchline) Why would I download a game that's 10 bucks and cursed? Oh, it's by Square-Enix? Is it in the US App store yet? (above-average punchline) That's what you get for tapping "I Accept" without reading the app's Terms of Service text (advanced punchline) Each game is cursed with its very own soul of a suicidal Foxconn employee. (Family Guy/South Park punchline) "...that promises your death within one week unless you manage to clear it..." or pay the completely optional "No Die" IAP. "...having started playing it several days after your friend recommended it to you..." the same friend that thought 'Mole Kart' was in no way derivative. "...As you near the answers to its existence the RPG mode becomes ever more corrupted in its visuals..." Until a future update upgrades the visuals to Retina Graphics.
Are you a trying to troll or something else? Sometimes I misunderstand that kinda stuff, but i don't understand why you would say those things.
