I'm going to be upgrading my phone tomorrow from my old 4s to a 5s. I was wondering, for those that also did this upgrade - how much of a general performance difference did you notice? Since ios 7 my 4s has been sluggish at best and I'm really looking forward to the upgrade. Just curious what others saw when they upgraded.
Can't say about 4s to 5s, but from 4s to 5 it was pretty dramatic. I can only imagine how much bigger a leap the 5s would be.
It's a pretty HUGE jump. Even when I switched from the 5 to my 5s it was a pretty drastic change. My phone has been great, battery life excellent, fast, touch id is just about the greatest thing in the world; it works flawlessly. Enjoy your upgrade man!
Ended up picking up the 5s yesterday and the jump is pretty drastic. I'm putting it through it's paces playing with different games and it's amazing how much faster the device is compared to the 4s. Glad I made the upgrade!
I've witnessed the performance increases right from iPhone 4 all the way to iPhone 5s. 5 to 5s was a slight increase, 4s to 5s is greater.. Especially emulator performances.
I was even impressed by going from iphone 4 to 4s, noticed a big difference as i had lots of apps starting to crash on 4. However with Awesome Baby Names its now too fast on the 4s which is frustrating !
You'll definitely notice a very good boost. It's funny how used to a sluggish phone you can be until you get the upgrade and say, "whoah"!
