    Hello Touch-Arcade!

My name is Joshua Anderson and I'm the lead designer and developer for membraine studios' first ever iPhone game: Orbital Defence.

We've just announced our game, and I've taken the liberty of re-posting the press release below. Get hyped! We'll have an announcement shortly on how you might be able to help us make Orbital Defence the very best it can be!

Genre-defining Orbital Defence coming soon to an iPhone near you
Sydney, Australia - October 6, 2009 - membraine studios announces Orbital Defence for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Orbital Defence sees players facing down an invasion by aliens bent on world domination, and features a unique, genre-defining design that will appeal to casual and hardcore gamers alike.

Game designer Josh Anderson said, "We think we've really tapped the Awesome provided by the iPhone and iPod Touch. We can't wait to share Orbital Defence with the gaming community."

Orbital Defence will soon enter beta testing, and membraine studios is currently targeting a late-October release window in order to ensure the game's entry into the 2010 Independent Games Festival. The independent developer promises more information about the game closer to its release, as well as competitions aimed at "giving back" to the iPhone/iPod Touch gaming community.

    About membraine studios

We've just submitted to Apple, yay us!

Hopefully you'll all agree that the game's visuals have come a long way:

We're going to be selling at Tier 2 ($1.99 US) and we hope that you guys have as much fun playing it as we did making it.

We have a gameplay video scheduled to drop at the same time as our website goes live. You have to see it in action to appreciate it :D

I'll post again in this thread when they are available!
