Now Bloons TD has entered the fray as well as GeoDefense Swarm, what would your top 5 tower defense games be? For me, it's: 1. Bloons TD 2. geoDefense 3. Defender Chronicles 4. Swarm 5. Star Defense/Sentinel 2 (I don't own Sentinel but like what I've played. Probably 3rd if I had it).
I don't have a real top 5, but only because I can't decide between Bloons TD, Defender Chronicles, and geoDefense. But if I did, it would be something like this: 1. Defender Chronicles 1. Bloons TD 1. geoDefense 2. geoDefense Swarm 3. Fieldrunners 4. Tower Madness 5. Elemental Monster TD

5 is too tough... In no particular order: elemental monster geodefense + swarm bloons defender chronicles fieldrunners (quite fond of crystal defenders too) I have nearly 2 pages of TD and each one of them has nice twists that make the game engaging. But the above are the ones that really impressed me. Have yet to get into newer ones such as ninja, comets & craters or navy patrol so my ranking may just change after I get around to playing them.
Mine is 1. GD: Swarm 2. The Creeps! 3. Fieldrunners 4. Defender Chronicles 5. Moonlight Minions 6. Geo Defense 7. Star Defense 6 and 7 are the "Runner ups"

same can be said about Monster Defence. I'll give bloons a spin when/if it drops to $1 but even then most likely will need a lite version to try out before I risk the $1. Been burned on too many recently TD games. Moonlight was one of them amongst others. Ones I see that never get enough love are: iTD The Creeps!
+1 I agree mr bass. also I got bloons and really don't think its the best TD and there are better options. If you got burned by moonlight then yeah wait for that pricedrop.
Here's my list in no particular order: Defender Chronicles ElementalMonsters 7 Cities Besiegement Sentinel series And yes, I've played Bloons TD and it's ok. I'm not sure what the buzz is all about, but it just doesn't do it for me.
Defender Chronicles The Creeps! Elemental Monster TD Sentinel 2 Fieldrunners Played Bloons TD, had never played it before(at least not that I remember)...it was very meh. Not very good, but not bad either.
I guess Bloons TD isn't got everyone. I think Fieldrunners is a terrible TD, and Defender Chronicles and Elemental TD to be average while I can play Bloons TD for ever.
It is what it is. People have different tastes, and it's good to have several good options. Btw, nice review.
Thanks, not everyone agrees on stuff. I find Bloons TD to be amaIng, some find it to be meh, I find Fuwldrunners to be boring, primitive and outclassed and overpriced while some think it's the first and the best.
