    Hi guys,
We just working on a new game. "Capture The Box" is a new boardgame for mobile devices. It is unique and easy to play with depth strategy for player to explore.

The game is inspired by classic such as chess, go, Othello, etc where 1 player must control the board to win.

    Mock-up:

    Hi all,

    Time for new update:
Game Rules/ How to Play Summary

Each player take turn to place their pieces onto the board.
At least 1 box must be on empty space.
Light box color can be converted into other player's color, but Bold box will be downgraded into light box.
The game end when the board is full and player with the most pieces win the game.

    Forgot to post this yesterday...lol

We are now experimenting for all the basic player's pieces shape.
The goal is to make the shape simple but give interesting choice for strategy.

Using simple table to mock-up shapes:

    And NEW update:

During development we come up with many iterations and after choosing a default game mode, we think it will be fun if we turn our experimental features to the game.
    So we create:

Player will be able to customize some game elements and as the name suggest the game won't be ranked for leaderboards.

    Thanks

Good news for those who lives alone or have no access to internet.
Capture The Box now feature an "A.I versus" mode.

The A.I will fight hard and will give you a quick and fun game, or maybe as a sparring partner before you beat other players online. :D

    Hi all,

New updates! Our final ingame UI

Here you can see player's score, game mode on top, pause, change view, available pieces.
Another major feature is the 3D mode! After a player place a shape on board, it will change to 3D view and play simple animation.
Player can zoom, rotate & pan to view the model better.

I hope you guys like it.
    Thanks

    Small Update for today.
Game Modes! there are 2 game modes: classic & party

Classic is the basic game mode on 5x5 board and can be set to casual or ranked
Casual means, the game result won't be delivered to online leaderboards
Ranked means, the result will be go to online leaderboards

Party mode is where player can customize some rules, ex: random box shape, different board design, etc. Party mode can only be set to casual type.

We will post about the customization next week. Stay tuned.
