Fans of the BBC's premier tweed-wearing paradox merchant are in for a treat this Christmas as Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time is on its way to iPhone and iPad. It's a top-down 3D adventure in which you play either the Doctor himself or human sidekick Amy Pond. The pair travels through time and space across seven locations, including Incan temples and the Tardis itself. The original story pits the Doctor and Amy against a rogue Dalek who has flung an innocent family far into time, possibly out of spite. The ensuing adventure sees them battling Daleks, Cybermen, and Sillurians through a total of ten levels, featuring authentic music from the show. The gameplay is a mix of action, adventure, and puzzling, as you use the duo's unique abilities to overcome environmental challenges. The Doctor has the strength to haul boxes around, whereas Amy can squeeze into tight gaps. Doctor Who: The Mazes of Time will be teleporting into the App Store within the next few weeks. Source PG
omg awesome I can't wait! looks awesome i just hope that the game lives up to the series, i'm a fan of dr. ?
It's a Brittish tv show that started in 1963, the current Doctor is the 11th (I believe.., he can't die but regenerates into a new doctor), he travels through time and space in an old blue wooden police box. The series went off the air in the 1989, a movie followed in 1996 and the series was brought back in 2005. I watched it as a kid and now my kids watch it with me...It's also available to download on itunes. http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/dw
Maybe this will help? How many Doctor Who fans does it take to change a light bulb? Just one, but they think the new light bulb isn't as good as the old one.
No-one will ever come close to David Tennant, lol...I'd pay $10 to see him in this game as the Doctor.
Spoke with Paul from Tag-Games Asked what was going on and here is the reply: "I'm afraid there was an issue with the HD iPad version of the game that was beyond our control and therefore the launch had to be put back. We don't have any control over this as it is BBC Worldwide that are publishing the game and not Tag! We think you'll love the game when it does arrive and it is only days away so don't worry you'll have Who on your iPhone or iPad for Christmas!" So there you go we have to wait just a wee bit longer
