i think it wont drop to 0.99 so soon, look at battle field and other games, their regular price are 4.99. and dead space is the only game which is 6.99 regularly. i think the game will stand at this price on sale for awhile.
The history of the app store suggests he's right. May be more than a few weeks, but it's arguably inevitable. Seems like everything goes down to 99cents at some point. Case in point, Street Fighter IV, a game I never thought would hit 99cents. But it did.
It's a pattern that alot of EA games have fallen to $0.99 during seasonal sales. Most recently Mortal Kombat within days of release and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on release day.
2.99 is a steal. I was hesitating whether I should have got it or not. It is worth every dollar for it.
Guys.... -_- The sale is only available in every country that has EA netherlands,or i mean World,in company...so that means that we,here in US & Canada,have EA Mobile(the general one) and we couldnt get those sales that are getting,like remember when they dropped free Trivial Pursuit Last year and dropped Mirrors Edge this year free?!Every country except us were having fun picking them up,but us werent having those crazy promotion and oppurtinity to get a EA game free,cuz im sure that they will never put one of their games free cuz they already win and earns tons of money during or even without sales too! ....
, look, you guys get that fabulous sale on most of EA titles, we only have this sale on Dead Space, I mean, you guys have way more sales than we do. And anyway, you should be happy 12 Days of Christmas included you for most of the days, it was supposed to be a Europe only thing anyway.
I hope it will be on sale during the eatern holidays for $,99 =) Sad that the game is still not available in Germany
ok, here's the thing (always my opinion of course). Glad I refrained to buy this when it hits the store, how many time has passed? 2 weeks? Not a good sign for early customers. I'm in a point I can wait for a bigger sale on this considering the amount of IAP crapish EA put on the game, take that in account, of course is optional but still. At this price is worth it, but in my case I think I will pass this time. Also I have an 8gig 4th gen ipod, my space is very limited
Too bad this is international-only, but it's a given that EA'll put anything on their store on sale in due time. I'm actually surprised they didn't drop Dead Space and NBA Jam immediately (akin to what they did with BFBC2 etc), BUT I'm sure they probably took to heart everyone going, "Why are they putting new games on sale immediately at release?" and learned their lesson. They'd rather make $7 per DS and $5 per NBA Jam than $1, no matter how much good will it makes. But in time when sales drop off, you can expect the price to drop fast and hard during the next holiday. I can wait.
