Hello Everyone! You may have heard the rumblings across the internet today, but it is with great pleasure that we can announce our latest game, in association with Games Workshop, 'Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion'. Deathwatch: Tyranid Invasion is a turn based strategy game, set on the edge of Imperial space, where your Space Marines will engage the Tyranids in a series of tactical engagements. From war ravaged cities, to the insides of Tyranid bio-ships, your mission will see your Kill Team rise in strength and skill as you face ever greater threats and peril. The Space Marines of the Deathwatch are the Imperium’s finest Xenos hunters. Hand picked warriors from across the myriad Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes, clad in imposing black armour and tasked with the destruction of the ever present alien menace. Created in the powerful Unreal Engine 4, Deathwatch raises the bar for iOS titles with beautiful 3D environments and characters. Another first for Rodeo Games is the addition of multiplayer. Users will now be able to create their own Deathwatch kill teams and battle it out around the world with other users. This weeks release features the fearsome Blood Angels Devastator. Tasked with long-range fire support and entrusted with the Chapter’s rarest heavy weaponry, Devastators rain death on the enemies of the Imperium from afar. Who would your ideal Deathwatch marine be?
Its taken a long time to completely switch engines from our previous games and 'start again' so to speak. The results as you can see however, are worth it.
Are we talking about full equipment customization with "over 250 wargear items" Matthew? Or are they only weapons and just a few armor pieces? I'm so excited!
Wait a minute, the iPod 5th gen will be compatible but the 1st gen mini which is the same but bigger won't? That's pretty weird TBH but the game looks just EPIC from what I see so hopefully I can give this a go as one of the last ones on my good ol' mini
That includes weapons, abilities, and equipment. Good eye, that is an error and the iTouch 5th gen isn't supported.
Stocked! Any ETA on beta/alpha? Really excited and I appreciate the relatively high hardware demands for the beautiful look. Will it support metal?
The reason I bought my iPad was because I played Warhammer Quest for a half hour on my brother's and became addicted immediately. Love everything you Rodeo Boy and Girls produce. Can't wait for this one.
This is great news. Warhammer Quest is one of my favorite iOS games of all time. Can't wait for this game.
There's no ETA on a beta as of yet. The game is scheduled for release in 'summer' which we're confident of. I'll upload some new screenshots soon so you can see why the hardware demands are high
DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! Can't wait to know more and see it in motion!!! My prayers has been granted...while (endlessly) waiting (and bothering to no end Ben, Tam, Laurent...) I was weekly watching Alien and playing daily Space Hulk: Death Angel BTW...is multiplayer live or async?
