But I wonder why? Is the game (series, rather) not as successful as it once was? Edit: Merp, just saw the text on the picture. Guess they went freemium. Good for them. They had a nice long run with the original game and I know there are people still in support of them that are willing to buy extra content (plus they got that Facebook game, merchandise, the comics and Uranus). Hope they do well on their "runs" game. rIcHrAnDoM Well-Known Member Patreon Silver Nov 17, 2008 7,936 30 38 Steelworker/Welder Indiana, USA #3 rIcHrAnDoM, Dec 12, 2013 Yeah, Dave informed us awhile back. It was not making enough money for them and they are gonna quit working full time on pocket god stuff. I hope this does well for them awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #6 awp69, Dec 12, 2013 My problem was never not wanting to pay $.99 for this. It was the massive file size. I just didn't want 350+ MB of space uncompressed used up for an endless jumper. So unless something changed with that, the switch to freemium certainly isn't going to change my thoughts about downloading it. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #7 cloudpuff, Dec 12, 2013 Update says ads have been introduced but will be removed with any iap, I purchased the doubler at launch, does anyone know if this will count and remove the ads? I'm. Not gonna uodate if ads will appear. squashy Well-Known Member Jan 21, 2013 1,997 1 38 *burp* The Garden of Sinners #8 squashy, Dec 12, 2013 The dev said customers who paid for the game shouldn't get any ads. slamraman Well-Known Member Patreon Gold Aug 27, 2011 2,511 5 36 #9 slamraman, Dec 12, 2013 Oh well - another one. I paid for it then deleted it to come back to later. Hopefully no ads when I re-install. Why not just release a free one and not tinker with what people have bought? If it wasn't successful maybes it is time to try something else. From the original thread, it was well over 300+ MB. (You must log in or sign up to post here.) Show Ignored Content Share This Page Tweet Your name or email address: Do you already have an account?
