Pip -- the ultimate digital underdog – is a lowly single pixel in a 32-bit world who proves that you can’t judge a hero by the fidelity of his shaders. During the game, Pip gains the ability to evolve and grow by absorbing pixels from his fallen foes. Those same pixels can then be used to blast through environment puzzles and enemies, devolving Pip back to a single pixel. Players will explore five stylized worlds and experience up to 10 hours of epic adventure saving Pip’s village from the evil Queen DeRezzia. Inspired by classic platformers, Adventures of Pip basks in a world where players can defeat a huge 32-bit boss as a single pixel or even as an 8-bit character. With three different forms, evolve and devolve Pip to solve puzzles and defeat enemies; each with their own weakness and strength that must be unraveled throughout the campaign. Shantae's Revenge, Thomas Was Alone, Goo Saga, Leo's Fortune, Super Cat Tales (next on my list, as I bought the IAP and love what I've played so far), Sonic CD, Bean Dreams, VVVVV, and you can throw Dust and Stranger's Wrath in there as well, I guess... But I would still quite like this. Decisions, decisions... Remember umming and ahhing when it first dropped the price from $9.99, but this is the cheapest I've ever seen it. And How Long to Beat reckons it's only 5-6 hours, which shouldn't hurt my backlog too much. And in it goes into my folder full of unplayed platform games. Which I AM going to start clearing out. GQ Man Well-Known Member Jan 30, 2017 132 0 16 #8 GQ Man, Mar 17, 2017 Ive just picked this, however the file size at 548 MB strikes me as rather large for this kind of game, interesting. I like it but need advice. I did not feel to comfortable with the floating joystick so I changed to dpad but the down button separating the left right buttons didn't feel natural so I adjusted the buttons. However now I feel like my left thumb is blocking too much of the character or screen especially when entering a new room from left. Any advice on a configuration you found useful? Should I go back to floating joystick? Other than trying to figure this out to get more comfortable I'm enjoying the game. ChrisL Well-Known Member Dec 12, 2009 2,024 0 0 Montreal #18 ChrisL, Mar 22, 2017 I've been using the floating joystick. If I come across an area where my thumb is covering stuff, I can just move my thumb to an area that isn't blocking too much. Haven't really had too many issues like this. onyx77 Well-Known Member Feb 4, 2010 225 0 0 #19 onyx77, Mar 23, 2017 Thank you! I may restart the game and play only with floating joystick so I can get used to it.
