Is this similar to that series and worth a look for someone unfamiliar with the franchise? zergslayer69 Well-Known Member Apr 21, 2010 1,211 3 38 #3 zergslayer69, Sep 7, 2012 Its in the spirit of monkey island, quirky and random. This is a steal at 5 bucks for all of them. GoJays2025 Member Aug 30, 2012 12 0 0 #5 GoJays2025, Sep 7, 2012 Monkey Island (LucasArts) are some of my favourite games, but I didn't really like TellTale's take on it. I've played Sam n Max season 1 (TellTale) and I definitely didn't think they were up to par with LucasArts. I also played one episode from this one, which was okay. I'd say $5 is a decent price for all the episodes. You could always just buy one and see if the rest are worth it - the episodes are pretty similar. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
