It ended up being a calculation error, but as a forum member, how was I supposed to know that? Thank you for the correction, by the way. The original price is $1.99 now on sale for .99 cents. I am sure that extra 1 was a mistake. I have never seen MongaPop try to trick people to make a sale. Fun game by the way. I wasn't sure if I would really like it because it is all tilt control. Actually... I am enjoying it. There is some obstacles and plenty of challenges. I think it is definitely worth the dollar. I don't mean to hurt the guy's feeling but someone needs to tell him the truth instead of blowing smoke up his ass. Mongapop Well-Known Member Feb 25, 2014 138 0 0 http://www.mongapop.com #15 Mongapop, Oct 16, 2015 Trust me, I don't have feelings! I used all my quota during my teen years. I'm probably not very good into designing the games. Most probably because I have more fun creating those simple games than playing some other more elaborated games. If you don't mind, just tell me what exactly bothers you. Maybe the feedback can improve the next ones. Maybe not... I would say that some old Deathmatch FPS games are my all time favorite. Small groups playing Quake II in a LAN. Same for Age of Empires II. Original Death Rally for single player. For the artwork. It's really boring to cut/paste/edit GFX @ Photoshop. In the end it's like a one-man-band. Sometimes it's slightly easier (still boring) just to go to websites like this: http://www.spriters-resource.com/search/?q=castlevania *PS* Im a huge Konami fan. I even have originals MG1 and MG2. Complete boxed original MSX cartridges. *PS* Lavender! I give you points for trying at least Lavender Well-Known Member Dec 31, 2013 2,967 0 36 United States #17 Lavender, Oct 16, 2015 I disagree. Good thing we all have our own opinions. I really enjoyed playing and completing the game. No boredom here. And I say that without any smoke. (I quit smoking years ago. Yay for me!) Normally, I don't really like tilt control games. But in this one, I felt that it belonged and fit perfectly. To me, the tilt control was very precise. A little sensitive though. But that was part of the challenge. In a certain area of the game, there is a 'bottle' of life next to a pair of 'high jump' boots. To get there, you must maneuver through an opening under a wall, then jump over spikes to a little bitty area between the spikes and a wall. If the tilt wasn't precise, I could not get to the goodies. My biggest complaint would be that it is too short. It needs more levels. To me, the graphics remind me of the old pixelated games. I like the retro feel. And; I love the long hair on the character! I do understand about the graphics on the menu area . (For different levels) there is a bit of a blur to the menu/level graphics. Almost like a photocopy that's been copied over and over. So... We'll agree to disagree on this one. I'm sure there are plenty more games that everyone will have different opinions about. LOL! Mongapop Well-Known Member Feb 25, 2014 138 0 0 http://www.mongapop.com #18 Mongapop, Oct 17, 2015 Let me try to take something out of your opinion: 1) Precise Controls It's as precise as the accelerometer you have inside your device. Take a 180o angle range. If you're at 0, player will be moving at full CoreMotion framework acceleration. That's a precision of 2x 9223372036854775807 as it's unsigned. So, as Lavender said, probably you're not being able to enjoy using that kind of control. Seems highly subjective. 2) Graphics Let's focus on the backgrounds. Those are references to my favorite retro platform. MSX. GFX are, in general, very similar to ZX Spectrum Games. Take a look here: http://www.samdal.com/svhistory.htm And, if you tried the game until level 3, check this video to see if you find the background there: 3) Level Designed Uninspiring Im not very good @ it. And, in the end It was really hard to change something and test it inside the game. Sometimes the result was a part impossible to advance. A key impossible to reach. Let me show you how levels need to be changed: Code: CBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBD C;:^;:^;:^;:^;:^;:^D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,E,GHGH,D C;:I,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,E;:,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,IID C;:,,,,,E;:,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,E;:,,,,,,,E;:D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,E;:,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,GHD C;E;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;,,,,,,,,GHGH;:,,,D CGHG,E;:,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,E;:,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,E;:,E;:,GHD C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,E;:,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,E;:GHGD C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,E;:,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,E;:,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,E;:,,,,,D CGHGHG,E;:,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,E;:,,,,E;:D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,E;:,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,E;:,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,GHG;:,,D C;:,,E;:,,,E;:,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,E;:,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,E;:,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,E;:,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,GH;:,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,E;:,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,E;:,,,,,,,,GH,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,E;:,D C;:I,,,,,,,,^,,,,,,D C;:IIIIIII,,,GH;:,,D C;:,,,,,,,^,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,GH;:,,,,D C;:,,,,,^,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,GH;:,,,,,,D C;:,,,^,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,GH;:,,,,,,,,D C;:,^,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,GH;:,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,D C;:,,,,,,,,,,,,*,,,D CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD } //////////////////// //////////////////// /!//////////////!/// //////////////////// //////////////////// /////////////////a// //////////////////c/ //////////////////// //////!/////////c/// //////////////////// //////////////////// /////////////////@!/ //////////////////// ///////////b#b////// /b/!//////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// /////////////c////@/ //////////////////// ///////////@//////// //////////////////// ////////////////bb#/ //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// /a#aaa////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// /////@////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// ////////////bb////// //////////////////// /////////////////!// /////c///////////c// //////////////////// ///////////////!//// ///c//////////////// /!//aaaaaa////b///// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// ///////!//////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// //////////////////// /aa@//////////c/aaa/ //////////////////// ] -3 45 That's Lavender's favorite Level: Viland. 1st part are the blocks, 2nd part the enemies and items. I think it's easier to create an editor inside the game and let people create and submit their own levels. Probably will never happen as few people are playing the game. 4) Amateurish Thank you. It is! I agree with you. That was always my feeling when I was comparing Japanese games with European games during the late 80s. Japanese games always "felt" more polished. Don't know how to define Polishness.
