I'd hate to be a buzzkill, but I totally just thought of this earlier today: The ONLY form of info given was that the game was submitted. But isn't it odd that this game will release out of nowhere with no trailers, hype, or ANY more information of a project that took these guys years to make? Well, developers are given 2 options when submitting an app: -Submit - release upon approval -Submit and release on the date of 00/00/0000 after approval So, for all we know, MS submitted it, but could have a release date of the next month or so. Even though the games done, they still may hold the release for a while so they have time to build hype. God, I hope I'm wrong...
I hope its tomorrow otherwise its another week of waiting I'am starting to lose my patience on this one lol.
I strongly hope its tomorrow. They've dragged it on enough, and if they put it off for a few more weeks, I guarantee there won't be as many gamers hoping for this as there is now. I agree with you though an you have an immensely good point, so you could very easily be right if MS chooses the right path, but trailers and teasers wouldn't be necessary after all of this one word a day game created hype, even though that was really pushing me to the edge. We can only hope.
That's how the process works. I posted that a few pages ago. That's why I think that the game was submitted way before the word was added. That's why I feel that the game may come tomorrow. MS may have been waiting for their word game to end before they released the game. Now the banner is full there may be only one thing left. Maybe the melee gameplay with Santa and Chef Gordon was their idea of a trailer.
The word game is finally over so ridiculous part is also over. MS got rid of some heat by submitting the game because now we are gonna blame Apple for taking it so long to approve the game. I just hope MS didn't set any specific date for the release because Apple has been slow when approving Minigore was the case + there was no trailer to say "coming <insert date here>" so it should arrive right after it has been approved. On the other hand, release of Minigore with Zombies has become a myth by now so I won't be surprised if it came out on December 21st because it would truly indicate the end of the world.
