I'm a big RPG fan, and have been eyeing Crimsonheart, Lunar Silver Star Story, and Avernum:Escape from the Pit. Are these worth getting? I'm after a lengthy game for my money, but not really interested in those 'generic' J/KRPG's.

Lunar Star Story and CrimsonHeart are worthy (can't comment on iPad one). Also consider Fall of Angels (JRPG) and Kingturn (SRPG)

Kingturn is the one I've been playing of late - it's pretty damn good. Thumbs up from me.

Haven't played the others you mention.

Can CrimsonHeart be enjoyed without the MMO, just solo play. The app description is pretty vague.

Avernum Escape from the Pit is very much worth getting. Large world to explore, lots of side quests.

There's always Baldur's Gate, if you can look past the massive bugs.

You can play solo. As far as turn based RPG's a also enjoy all the Kemco games.
