Pirates of New Horizons! Coming to iPhone and iPad early next year.

Pirates of New Horizons is a 3D Action Platformer about looting, pillaging and a flying cat. It allows you to explore an epic adventure tailored for a snack-sized mobile game experience on your iOS or Android device.

Your personal game character is the young pirate girl Annha, whose destiny has brought her into a life based on a never-ending adventure. She is assisted by the flying cat Professor Henceworth, and is equipped with spaced out gadgets such as grappling hooks and jet packs. With exploration being a core focus, there is an unique PIRATE (Probably Incredible Remarkable Adventure Tailored Experience) system in place which through procedural methods provides for an ever-changing world.

We already have a polished prototype/preview version running on PC and a functional prototype working on mobile. All images used here are from the PC version and rendered in-game. This level of graphics will only be enabled on high end mobile devices, but rest assured that the game will scale to lower end devices also.

Our goal is for all areas of the game to reflect the passion we put into it. This can be summed up as our ambition to create the game with the highest 'Love Per Pixel Ratio'.

We have a Kickstarter going with a few days left:

(I hope this is not considered kickstarter spam)

And we have the wicked story behind the development of the game as a long image on imgur:

Thanks guys! We are big fans of Oceanhorn ourselves, so its cool to hear that you put us in that category :)

Regarding screenshots, I should note that you need a pretty recent device for it to look that good.
