Hi, Got my new ipad today but I need help moving things across. I cannot do a PC backup/restore as my PC is defunct So I'm having to redownload all my games again and lose all my saved games for everything Anyway about safari, is there anyway to move my favourites and cookies from my ipad2 to my ipad air? I must say, getting a new device is awesome but its a pain when you lose all your data and saved games
You don't need to lose anything. In your old iPad go to Settings/iCloud/Storage&Backup and turn on the iCloud sync. Then sync your iPad to the cloud, and when you set up your new one, tell it to restore from you icloud backup. It might take a few hours, but you should get everything back.
Hellfire.. I wish I'd read this a couple of hours ago. I just wiped everything, even saved games I've been playing for months
