    • Could a game like Dissidia be made on iPhone/itouch

      Not sure what squenix is doing but with the recent announcement of the app store sales. Could a title like dissidia work on the iPhone/itouch. Or would not work.

      Hybrid Eternal Whisper is the closest thing you're gonna get.

      I don't like the graphics of Eternal Whisper, it looks soooooooo laggy and small..
      He means a real 3d fighting game..
      Sure it's possible!
      But I think only on the 3gs, and with lowered graphics.

      One word: voxels

      Could be possible to do slightly higher end 3d if it was possible to make the character models, weapons, equips and animated things out of voxels and use combinations of colors and shapes that give a manga feel

      dont think so. when's the last time square enix has made a game for the iphone? and they're usually crappy TD games

      I don't know, PSP has some games that are PS2 quality graphics, while iPod has good graphics nothing can touch Dissidia. Maybe if Square Enix made a game for it, because they know how to use all the graphical potential on a portable.
