Excited about this one. shouldn't be long before this is pushed out to iOS devices. and dont flame about your bad experience with the old version. both on my ip4 and my ipad2, this game has ran flawless and lag free. of course your old shitty out dadted device might not work as well... Well I can't wait to to get this for my iPad 2. I still haven't had any real issues on either my iTouch 4G or iPad 2(slight lag seldomly on the iTouch but it has never been bothersome). To be honest, I wish they would have made this an IAP, and I hope 2nd wave will allow us to transfer our characters over at the very least... Are there any new character classes going to be implemented?
Notice the lack of camera movement buttons and the repositioned map button (still huge though). I hope this means swipe camera controls this time.
I simply adore Dungeon Defenders and love it on both IP4 and iPad. Hopefully getting my iPad 2 real soon and I'm uber excited about Second Wave. I need it now!
well it did say upgraded graphics for ipad 2, and something about HD widescreen. so maybe hdmi out? kind of cool. and according to trendy's forums, we should be able to transfer our characters.
I think the changed UI is because on the xperia play some functions will be handled by buttons (joystick) - no need for the onscreen icon, more room for other things, or to make things bigger. But I totally agree, better camera controls would be awesome. This is pretty new to me - anyone know what's different/added? Why buy this if I've got First Wave?
You get used to the crowded UI very soon, believe me. You won't notice it after a few minutes when you're involved in the game.
True but would really like an option to make the controls smaller on the iPad. They are way bigger than needed. Looking forward to 2d wave but still having a blast on first wave so not rush for me.
Did i see character looks customization? Looks very simple color swaps, but better than nothing like the first one. Cant wait for this too. Dont quote me on this, coz I cant remember where I read it from, I think its trendys website, but I seem to remember them saying that characters from the first wave will somehow transfer to this one. Which is a great thing if that really happened.
Hope this will be added into the first game instead of a different app. I didn't see any mention of this in the first post.
iPad 2 HD widescreen support = instabuy for me. The characters looked pretty customizable. Hurry to the app store!
