Information Seller:SilverTree Media Genre:Action, Arcade Release:Jul 27, 2011 Updated:Dec 18, 2012 Version:1.70.16684 Size:42.7 MB TouchArcade Rating: User Rating: (6) Your Rating:unrated Compatibility:HD Universal Cordy is a VERY polished exploritory platformer. There are no enemies - it's more focused around exploration and acrobatics. I bought it the day it was released, and am still enjoying it quite a bit, after beating it once, I restarted the game, beat it again, and am now going through, trying to get all of the stars. 27 levels each have 3 stars to collect - one for completing the level, one for collecting all of the items, and one for beating the level's time. Aside from the IAP to unlock the game, there are IAPs for customizable hats, but there's nothing special about them, and you'll unlock a few just while playing the game anyway. They are 'support the developers' IAPs. Cordy ended up on my top 20 of 2011 list... if anyone's interested in that little bit of info.. it hit the #11 spot. The game is not compatible with 2G devices. And yeah, it is one of the better platformers. Habakuk Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2008 4,779 9 38 Vienna, Austria http://rossau.wordpress.com #5 Habakuk, Nov 28, 2011 Fantastic game. Everything said by syntheticvoid is true. Platformers are not so my genre in common but here I bought the IAPs as soon as possible. Perfect controls, charming gameplay. Very well balanced difficulty. Stunning sounds, visuals and animations. "Polished" is the right naming for that. BTW: When you buy it for iPad (2.39) it unlocks all levels for iPhone as well (if you have iPad and iPhone). I installed on iPad 2 and bought the IAP. Then I installed on iPhone 4 and did a RESTORE PURCHASES (settings) and it worked without charging once more. And it doesn't take much for me to like a platforming games. Good to hear all the praise. Hopefully with hit wifi somewhere for getting IAPs. That's the only problem I have with games like this where full game has to be bought via IAPs. I dont get wifi all that easily where I stay. Thanks syntheticvoid. medianotzu Well-Known Member Nov 21, 2009 3,803 9 36 #12 medianotzu, Nov 29, 2011 Yeah, I thought it was really dull just playing the first 4 levels but ended up getting it anyway due to all the positive reviews and it really does open up and become a lot more interesting later on. It's really a puzzle platformer though, not like a Mario or Sonic game at all, but I love it because the huge levels get pretty complicated and interesting. It's just a nice change of pace to me from all the micro-platformers on iOS like League of Evil, etc., although I'm certainly not knocking those style of games...this is just more my speed though. spidey Well-Known Member Jun 24, 2010 964 2 0 India #13 spidey, Nov 29, 2011 Wait a min. Does the iPad version have more levels? Or is it in effect a HD universal version IAP at a higher $$, and an iphone only IAP for lesser $$? I wanna know how the IAP became necessary... it's outfits to make your character look different... Don't need to wear a certain outfit to beat the game... and yes, buying the iPad version will unlock the iPhone version, just hit restore purchase. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
