Just curious which one you prefer! Vice City is one of the greatest games of all time, but it was made 10 years ago. The graphics and mechanisms are really dated. Gangstar on the other hand is made for 2013 and borrowed many great ideas from San Andreas and GTA IV. The graphics look much better as well. Which one do you prefer and why? My pick is Gangstar Vegas, I root for the underdogs and really feel Gameloft did a wonderful job here. The production value is 2013 and it is simply a lot more fun to play.
Gangstar Vegas feels like it was made by people who were shown trailers of GTA and told to make a game like it. It lacks the real detail, style, and quality of an actual GTA game. No contest, GTA Vice City wins by leaps and bounds.
Gangstar Vegas is nice, I like it for skydiving. That's about it, and killing people. Well being able to swim in that game also works too. Although while GTA Vice City is dated, the game is still pretty awesome with a kick ass soundtrack. Just driving around and listening to the music is awesome.
If Gangstar Vegas was similar in terms of Vice City and having a kick ass soundtrack with cars that can have popped tires and can lose doors and stuff then I'd pick GV hands down, but it doesn't.
Nah, I'd just want Vegas' graphics + aiming system grafted onto VC, then everything would be perfect.
Look. ONE of these games allows you to speed away from the cops with "I Ran" by Flock of Seagulls while watching the Miami sun set over the ocean. The other doesn't.
Vice city 100% It's a classic and people will still be taking about it in 50 years time. To have it on my device is incredible
I just cannot wait for San Andreas to launch on iOS I played that game to death on my PC. Oh the memories
I might give Gangstar Vegas a go, just 1) its from Gameloft, 2) their earlier Gangstar game seemed the usual Gameloft freemium hell. Again i always go on about this but to me its incredible to have a game like Vice City with me at all times ! When it came out I played it on the PSX2 to death, now here i have it on my portable device, amazing !! Yeah some missions are tricky with touch controls but practice makes perfect. Often i just like driving around, trying to see how many police stars i can get without being arrested. Hide in a building and take out everyone until the police get me. An epic game and like i say one which will stand the test of time
