Thanks for the heads up; hopefully we will see a few other Square Enix titles also drop... or even Final Fantasy VI show up. Square Enix has sales, but I'm not sure they have a history of random price drops.
Ff4 is probably the best of the first 5 yea. The plot is deeper than the other games. Plus this particular version is enhanced, 3d, voice acting, it's like playing a game you're familiar with but yet is a totally new experience.
That's when it's already dropped in other countries. This is still full price everywhere I checked (NZ etc.), so if it really is going on sale, it could be any time (could still be 11 as usual).
Well, according to my computer and a few other friends, the price have already drop (NZ, AU, other appstores in Asia, even UK). Even appzapp have confirmed the price drop. I don't know what is going on in the States, but I am sure you guys going to see the price drop soon enough.
Oh well I checked when the thread was posted so it must have happened since. Weird that it would drop between then and now in other countries. Usually it's a rolling 11pm change or simultaneous everywhere. Also, link: FINAL FANTASY IV (3D REMAKE) SQUARE ENIX "FINAL FANTASY IV" has finally come to the iPhone/iPad! Yes it looks interesting and I'm sure its fun but I begrudge paying almost six quid for what is a PSX game. I could understand you saying that about All the Bravest or something, but the FF name is what it is because of this game and others. It's not like this is some half assed app that got the FF name tacked on. This is FF. biokid Well-Known Member Jul 11, 2013 931 0 0 Wop Wops #16 biokid, Oct 29, 2013 Last edited: Oct 29, 2013 A really good point to bring up(although I have already got a few FF titles on my IOS devices). Many gaming journalists and many more consumers perceive that Square Enix titles on IOS are way overprice. If it is not an FF title or a game by Square Enix, will someone even purchase it at that price point? The quality of the games are great, but the price of the title on other platforms are way cheaper. Square Enix claims that those titles are ported/migrated, but the IOS version is a revamp version. The sale price is totally worth it though...... full price? maybe not. Outrager Well-Known Member Sep 14, 2012 130 0 0 #17 Outrager, Oct 29, 2013 I wonder if the update has broken the game. Here's one of the reviews: I also think it's kind of funny that he's threatening to sue. I really hope he goes through with it. It'd be fun to read about a month from now. biokid Well-Known Member Jul 11, 2013 931 0 0 Wop Wops #18 biokid, Oct 29, 2013 Need to check though. There are definitely a lot of reviews on the appstore that lacks credibility and reviews by people trolling around giving bad reviews for the games they purchased. On a side note: this game doesn't have any specific requirement other than IOS 4.3 or later. Pretty weird for a title (with 3D graphics), which is just release in November 2012.
