so has tA saved or cost you money? to me, it has saved me money... with the promocodes and the forums. i feel like a saved a ton cuz i know when sales are and such. but some may say that tA showed too many good games to them, making them spend more. so what do you think?
I feel it is both ways. However, there is more of the "costed me" thing. I went on here yesterday and bought 7 games.
It's both saved me money (Promocodes and forums) and cost me money (Awesome games I've found out about because of TA).
lol. to me, i feel it only saves me money. i love how tA sheds light on awesome games i never would have found myself. so really, i dont mind spending the money on those hidden gems. tA just makes my iphone gaming life more enjoyable
well its got me to promo code giveaways, giftcard giveaways. and it's where i found out about pocketfullofapps (i forgot how though...)
TA has caused me to spend more money than I would have by showing me great games and convincing me to buy more expensive ones, but it has also saved me money due to notices of sales and being able to talk to people to see if I would like the game or not. Even though it has cost me money, it has ensured that I like the games I buy, so I'm happy.
Pretty much ditto. It's also helped me avoid supporting whiny developers and shill-games. I just hope this silly poll doesn't lead to TA trying to enforce a subscription model.
I cant buy apps all the time cus I don't have the money, but this site has a ton of promos that have helped me save..
both of course. I've saved hundreds of dollars on the stuff I've bought.. but spent hundreds also I've only spent $5-6 on games so far this year though
Considering I'm Canadian and promo codes aren't usable in Canada... It's definitely cost me money. LOL
Both. TA has really helped me make better choices on what games to buy with all the open discussions, gameplay videos, and developer responses. I have been a lot happier with the purchases I have made since being a member of TA (although I have spent a lot more money because I end up buying more games ). Also the chance at promo codes is a great opportunity and saves money. Because of TA I have also had the chance to beta test games. So although I have probably spent more money on games since I joined TA, I would have to say that the quality of the games I have bought has improved dramatically.
