    pocket monkey games publish apps

but the point of getting a publisher is to raise awareness of your app.
no offense to them, but i don't think publishing via pocket monkey games will do you much good.

carrying on from my point, since a publisher is for raising awareness, wouldnt chillingo be the obvious choice? i mean, isnt it the first publisher you thought of?

Only on Chillingo web page is writing contacts for developers. Where writing that other company is publishers too?

the other person was just writing down loads of publishers that they knew, not what was good for devs.

you should make it clearer you want to submit a game

anyway, chillingo is the obvioius choice

EDIT: though if it's treu that ngmoco publish games, they'd also be a good choice... and having the plus+ logo is a good boost too

Ah, but you know of us as publishers. ;)

Awareness = Getting an app featured.

Out of the 6 games we have on the AppStore, 5 have been featured by Apple under either "New and Noteworthy" or "Hot New Games."

while that may be true, it is also true that i happen to be a toucharcade junkie who spends half of his life on toucharcade.:p

then again, the other points you made are also valid

Illusion Labs are good (if your thinking of indie devs).

Direct challenge to Chillingo's publishing is probably Freeverse. Brands like EA and Gameloft are just large and most likely develop their own stuff.
