Bet there is some way to stop the counter even faster, but darn if I can figure it out.

Any hint on it? This is one of those where I just can't get the counter to stop for a long time (I have 976).

While I like high scores, my big goal is to eliminate those where the counter just won't stop.

I've discovered two levels (I forget the numbers, but one was the one with chain winding up) where I was able to find a way to stop the timer that stumped others. Raised the scores on them 13 and 11 pts, but this is one that stumps me. I keep hoping a clue for one may lead to something that works for other levels.

It is SOOO frustrating to still have two levels where I need over 20 points!

Heck, I keep track of how many levels I need 10 or more points on and your improvement just added another to the list (14 now).

Ah, revenge for beating my high score a couple days ago!

BTW, is there a reason some on your list don't have names? I match the scores on most of them (except 33, 40, 50, 65, 69, 91, 108, 112, 114, 131). Knowing who got the high score will, eventually, lead me to try to see if they have any suggestions on that level (esp 99 where I'm 22 behind!) - if they still show up on the forum.

In the early days, when players submitted their scores, many had the same high score...
regarding level 99, that is a difficult level and it takes a lot of time to set up/ execute. Once you get close to the high score, most consider it "close enough"...

Another big one - raised my score by 15 and beat the old high score by 6:

Okay ctay, what the heck are you doing???!!! According to my calculations - and including both your new high score you reported and the one I just posted, you are just 14 points of the combined total of all the reported high scores! Not counting the new high I just posted for level 104, you would have all but 8 of the maximum pts reported!

That's just stunning. Seems to me that either you got some of those low high scores much higher and just haven't reported them yet, or you have figured out some new tricks to maximize the chance of a high score, or you are playing 24 hours a day and eventually just get lucky!

I have a calculation for every set of 40 levels (how many points off the max for those levels I am). My best set of 40 (both the first 40 and second 40), I'm off by 46 pts - way more than you are for the whole darn game!

    It's darn embarrassing!

Wait, it's worse than that. I have 2 levels where I'm short over 20 pts and a total of 8 where I'm off 14 or more pts!

Time for bed again. Not a bad day, but in my effort to find ways to stop the darn timer, how about some suggestions for #136? I'm only 10 behind, but still, 968 is terrible. I can drop everything over the side or on the platform without touching anything and it still won't stop.

Oh, while not a record, I finally got a good score on 173. Two pts short, but I was 26 pts short!

Now if I can get a decent score on 99, I'll have everything less than 20 pts short.
