I use the appshopper app and have this game as "want it". usually alerts me on updates. it'll prbly be a bit behind but should be fairly close to actual time it goes live.
I just checked app store for an update, and then when I saw none, came here to say that I just did so, and was hoping one of you would tell me I was wrong, to look again, that it was in fact there, and I read that you were all refreshing the update also, and then I checked the app store again, and it was still not there, and now I want the update, now, now, now!
Here's some reading on the original expansion to get you hyped: http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/02/ascension-storm-of-souls/
I don't know, but there's gonna be a worn spot on my screen soon. Didn't Strangiato know it wasn't going to happen by this time yesterday?
Now I know once again what it's like to be a kid right before Christmas this is easily my most anticipated app update ever!
I want to barge into the Apple App Approval offices and ask, "Where is it?". While calling security they'll respond, "Where is what?" to which I'll replay, "Don't play coy with me, YOU KNOW which update I'm talking about!" at which point security will likely whisk me away...
It was a dark and stormy night outside Apple headquarters. Suddenly a figure appeared in the doorway. "Where is it?" Tim exclaimed, his silhouette outlined by street lights shining in through the half-opened door. "Where is what?" said the Apple employee, upset at being disturbed and slowly, carefully reaching for the button under his desk that would summon a legion of security officers. Tim slamed his hands down on the desk, leaned forward towards the employee and while batting his lashes, spit out "Don't play coy with me, YOU KNOW which update I'm talking about!" By this time the nice young men in their clean white coats had arrived to take Tim away, to the happy home with trees and flowers and burping nerds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes while syncing their iPhones...
I hope the update comes with a big sale of the base game. Seems like a good way to get some sales and generate some buzz (leading to additional sales of IAPs!)
So I guess you missed that announcement that we'd hit 1M games played and we lowered the price of the app to $0.99 to celebrate? This came a couple of weeks ago...
Ah, is the game still on sale? Just trying to toss out ideas to help increase awareness and sales! Now about that update...any chance of posting an iPad-Retina screenshot?
I sense the update coming, my play online button kept freezing at the screen, anyone oso having the same thing?
