This falls in the Castle Defense genre. You can pick from a couple of the Allied powers to compete. The goal of the game is to defend your trench, while putting pressure on the other persons trench, and taking control. Guns are the main weapon, but bayonets can be used for close quarter battles!! Hopefully there will be tanks and airstrikes. Edit: I have a feeling it could be similar to Boom Brigade, where you draw lines to control your soldiers within the trenches.

I'll say the obvious and likely wrong guess, since no one else has: Its a first or third person shooter set in WWI instead of the already over crowded WWII genre. I'll also add RPG elements to make it much deeper than the average FPS. Likely a wrong guess since it wouldn't be much of a contest if it really was a FPS, but sone one has to say it
It will be an iPhone game... that will take advantage of the screen... and touch features... will features animations... and colors... and sounds... and will cost money... will only be sold via iTunes... are my guesses right?
My guess: Set in the Trenches(obviously)in WW1...You have a squadron of soldiers and have to stop the Germans from invading your Trench...With grenades,shooting them,using our bayonet to knife them. It's possibly gonna be a bit like Grunts but with just your Trench and the Germans Trench,with battlefield in the middle. Or you will have your trench on screen and have rampaging German Soldiers coming across the battlefield attacking you and you have to repel them with whatever weapons you have at your disposal,and maybe soldiers in German Trench throwing grenades and firing at you etc. Probably way off tho
