Hi guys, One of our apps: 23,000 GREAT QUOTES has appeared in the What's Hot section in the US AppStore today. The thing is that it only appears on the iPhone...in iTunes, there're all the other apps that appear on the iPhone except of ours. Any idea if this is normal? Cheers, ILIYA
Ours was exactly the opposite. I think I'd actually prefer to featured on the iPhone itself- I'm not sure how many people actually browse iTunes.
So it's not a bug or something? We are expected to stay there for 1 week now, right? How was it with you? Also, did you receive any e-mail from Apple about that? We didn't...
No, Apple doesn't notify you. We were there for 2 weeks I think. A lot of stuff was happening at the same time so I can't say for certain how much it helped us. I'm pretty sure it was significant. Apple does have a tendency to change things on a whim, as you are well aware. So it is possible you will show up in iTunes in a couple hours- the two aren't perfectly synched.
