About time gameloft got a new engine. I can't think of a better one tbh. Looking forward to better looking copycats in the future.
You are wrong there. The rest of their games was far ahead of most other similar available iOS games. I'm guessing and Hoping that Modern Combat 3 will use the Unreal Engine...
Nope. But that doesn't mean it's good. With a completely disguisting and overly simplistic metaphor (can't do any better this tired), just because I've never heard of anyone's shit smelling good, doesn't mean I want to smell my own for days.
Check out my review. @Balu: sorry to disagree with you here, but that's a faulty comparison. You can't compare free goods (something no one wants) to normal goods (things with increasing demand as income increases). DK is correct. When a good has high demand, you can compare it to similar goods to determine what's best. Gameloft succeeds in having the best two FPS available on the iOS along with the best RTS.
Meh, maybe. I just can't enjoy anything that's without any sign of originality. And Gameloft games obviously don't have that.
Gow does anybody feels a gears of war clone coming up..??... I can even smell it in the oven..... ummmmm
I agree that their singular player games are so lackluster it hurts sometimes, but they've done some good things with multiplayer games for many of us.
It'd better be a good game idea that they can sell it on - not just the graphics. e.g. a good looking James Bond, over an amazing looking 'Settlers'. Also gameplay needs to be less linear, and more-or-less on rails.
I just hope it will not be a battery and resource hog. I can't think of games that are developed using unreal that did not heat my ipod like it could cook eggs and batteries that drain so fast it is "unreal".
At least some sign of originality would be great. I mean, Modern Combat after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Copying titles is beyond pathetic.
You are rating a game because of its title? Have you dropped to the level of the avrage AppStore review wrighter? Seriously, who cares if they copy as long as they do a decent to good job doing it. As gameloft said themselves (or atleast they said something verry similar), you wouldn't see the titles they're coppying any time soon on iOS anyway.
