I remember the original game, it launched in an unexpected glut of indie games that week. This sequel looks decent.

WOW I Want this game!! How much will it cost!? Will I need to play the first game to get the whole story?
Boom Brigade 2 will be priced at 3,99 USD. It's ok if you haven't played the first Boom Brigade, although fans will find the core elements familiar. Basically Boom Brigade was about surviving an alien onslaught. In Boom Brigade 2, it's payback time
Ok I'm DEFINATELY going to download this game for sure Looks fun, price is fair, graphics are decent, what's not to like!
Game Impressions I was lucky enough to get a pre-launch sneak peek and the game is AWESOME! It's a great hybrid of Castle Defense, Line Drawing, and Dual Stick Shooter (not so much the controls, but the idea of battling seemingly countless hordes) all in one! Heck, there is even a bit of reverse herding game to it as well (while firing at the baddies have them follow you into some little fenced off area where it will be easier to pick them off safely). I'm also loving that with each of the trooper types there are a number of ways to equip them. Take the machine gunner, as an example. So far I have 3 choices on how to equip him. There is the standard rather fast firing but needs to be occasionally reloaded model, the heavier (slows your trooper's movement a touch) more damaging but slower firing, and lastly the slightly weaker damaging version of the standard that never needs reloading. There is no clear best, just a lot of choices. I also love that structures and various barricades seem to be playing a bigger role this time around. Depending on the situation they can provide you cover or maybe get in your way as you're desperately trying to escape some baddies. 5/5 so far!
Looks like we did great in Touch Arcade's review, 4 stars out of five! We'd like to let everyone know we submitted the v1.1.0 update yesterday, so hopefully it'll hit this week. The update includes two new Survival missions and three new Special missions (which are a lot like Survival, except there is no base to defend so they play out quite differently). By the way, we also have a blog where we try to post stuff more or less regularly. Lately there's been quite a bit of posts about Boom Brigade 2.
