The winners of last week's Game of the Week poll are pending… First Place: Bardbarian (35 votes) Second Place: Shadow Blade (17 votes) Third Place: Baldur's Gate II (15 votes) Last week's GOTW thread: http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=216000 The first part is nomination where every member can vote up to 5 games to be included in the poll. Releases active before Saturday are eligible, weekend releases can be nominated the following poll. 10 games with the most nominations will then be added to the poll on Sunday. Poll will remain open until next Wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be Touch Arcade forum's Game of the Week. Please note: 1) Developers, publishing partners, or affiliates cannot vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you can't vote. You are free to ask TA forum posters in your game release thread to vote for your game... but please don't post multiple messages about it. 2) This voting is for TA members with some activity. If you have to ask someone to create a new account to vote, you're doing it wrong. 3) Suspect votes may be void. 4) Game updates, no matter how significant are not eligible for GOTW. There are enough new games to nominate that haven't been considered before. Notice of this poll may be given in the threads of all nominated games. You can see new games by looking at AppShopper.com and checking the "New" tab. http://appshopper.com/games/new/ Atomic Fusion: Particle Collider Thread Video Doodle Kingdom Thread Video Dragon Whisperers Thread Dungeon Nightmares Thread Video The Enchanted Cave Thread Foxtrot Thread Front Wars Thread Glyph Quest Thread Video Hopeless: The Dark Cave Thread Video In Fear I Trust Thread Video Lonely Bunny Thread Video Man at Arms TD: Pocket Edition Thread Video Ninja Village Thread Video OrbsOrb Thread Video Sleeping Beauty X: The Legend of Tales Thread Video Substance Thread Suits and Swords Thread Video Tree Wars Thread Video TripTrap Thread Video Touch Force Thread Tower Madness 2 Thread Video YesSir Thread Video Tales of Phantasia does not yet seem to have an international release so is not eligible until that time. Glyph Quest Substance Doodle Kingdom Foxtrot! Touch Force I'm guessing Sherlock doesn't count otherwise I'd swap out Ninja Village. Cheers for running this every week!
Added to the original post, thank you. I can't find a Sherlock thread or clearly identify it in App Shopper but any new game released internationally this week (Saturday-Friday) is eligible. Can you provide a link for me to add to the original post if eligible? Thanks in advance.
Could Man At Arms TD: Pocket Edition please be added to the list. Edit: Noms Man at Arms TD: Pocket Edition Tower Madness 2 The Enchanted Cave
I added Man at Arms TD: Pocket Edition to the original post. However, it may be worth discussion as to wither a game can be eligible twice if the same content is released separately in iPhone/iPod and iPad editions. ...Before the Slayin update these folks didn't want updates to be included either so that was down-voted [circa Sonic 2 update]. [...but Black Dawn made it in the polls twice before that]. I don't see Luminetic Land out yet, once it's confirmed I'll add it.
I would like to mention that Man at Arms TD for the iPad was never included in any game of the week polling before this week. I honestly don't know how I missed it when it was released back in December because I love TD games and would bought it has soon as I saw it. Man at Arms is really a great mix of CCG and TD, probably one of the better TD games I've played in recent years. It's also worth noting that the iPad version has a level editor to make your own levels, the iPhone pocket edition does not have the level editor.
