My first time starting the game up and I have already completed the first 2 areas, and have a inventory completely full of 3-4 star items. Any idea why? Did not even complete the prologue yet because this game is super slow. So this basically is like one of your hero collecting games ala heroes charge with a twist. Instead of having an energy bar filling up and then you clicking on the hero's icon to trigger that ability, your heroes attack meter fills up and then he attacks. Think of it as a cooldown of attacks on characters. You then can hold your finger down on one (or more fingers on more characters) to speed this cooldown up. Then you can also aim their attack (drag from your character to the enemy one) and combo them, by draging from one of your characters to the next one and then to the enemy (sometimes it does not work, I guess, some characters can not be comboed together?). You can also let them auto battle so they will always attack the front enemy and have a small + cooldown djuring that time. Works too. That's the basic gameplay and I have yet to see anything more than that. The issue is, that it is super slow. You take a few minutes for the first missions, because, well this cooldown mechanic means, that there is no damage done whatsoever over several seconds, as the heroes charge up their attack. There is also a reconnection to the sever required after every stage on a level (so if you have a battle with 3 encounters, you have to connect 3 times). There are chests, which do not specify what loot they have in them (you can only click on them to buy them, no additional info given as far as I can see). There are also 2 different currrencies for those chests, as in most of those games. The premium currency is given out a bit sparesly I've found (I think one coin per completed mission, 5 coins for a chest or 1 per coin in the shop), though I do not know if you can replay the missions for more of those coins but I do not really think so. You have hearts which is basically the energy system of the game it costs 4 Hearts to complete a mission and you have at level 4 12 hearts (gaining more max hearts per level). At the moment I did not ran out. There is not timer displayed to see how fast they recharge, so I do not know that. Lastly there are potions which you might want to use realtivly regularly (you can get more in the shop for coins or find them on missions). You also have an inventory system which seems to be quite limited and may be a major factor of progression limitation once you have more characters. Only maybe. Lastly you can watch an ad after a mission for more coins. One more complaint is, a decent chunk of the game screen are just black bars. Always there. The story is also there. Yeah, basically just average from what little I saw. So overall I can't really find anything really bad except the black bars, the inventory management and the slowness of battle as well as possibly IAP issues which were not apparent at first glance. Oh yeah and the server re connection after every battle stage... At the same time I can't find anything that would hold my attention much longer. It has an okay art style, which I do find appealing but it is also not extremely well done in my opinion. The battles are not that much fun, but they are also not really bad. Your input seems very limited but it is also not an auto battle, as you have to continue to the next stage continuously. I think this is super average. as there is no 2.5/5 stars I will give it 2/5 because there are the few issues mentioned above that push this game down a smudge. As it is free, you can still try it out though, no glarying issues so far. (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
