      Summer. GM will be released at WWDC 10.

      i heard its gonna be coming out in June 7th, and also heard thats when they gonna show the iPhone 4G

      So 7th june sweeet cant wait the 4 g is really coming out i thot tHat was only rumor lol but still i m getting 4g first staight away no questions lol

      one question: any chance for a free OS 4 update for iPod-people? I read something like this in various blogs and posts, would be supercool, since 8€ is much money and apple is making enuff money out of this to release it for free.

      Probably like last year it's going to be available to developers first. As soon as the new iPhone is released the 4.0 software will be available to the public.

      They would have said something if it was coming out tomorrow, an update this big usually gets a release date announced a while before it

      Yeah I think we will see the GM for the devs then I'm gonna say june 25th or july 2nd (with the launch of the iphone HD?) it will go live to everyone. Though us ipod touch users will know how much it will cost to upgrade on june 7th.
