That combined with the high IAPs makes me wonder if this is another case where this may have been planned. Either way, it once again sucks for early adoptors. DBC nightc1 Well-Known Member Oct 19, 2012 4,362 0 0 AL #6 nightc1, Nov 15, 2013 Considering Marbly (the last game I remember from this dev) and how it launched free and went paid, went free, and was full of IAP and has been free ever since. Also two months after launch a premium Deluxe version came out minus the IAP. So this surely was planned to be free from the beginning. Don't be shocked if it stays free. All in all, I don't expect there were a lot of early adopters. And if there were this is a big case of buyer beware. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #7 cloudpuff, Nov 15, 2013 These are the iaps. - Double Touch - allows dragging two shapes at once Multi Touch - Dragging multiple shapes at a time - at £2.49 this is the most expensive. But way too loaded with IAPs, considering it was once a "paid" app. Love how they'll give you a power up and say "buy it for permanent use". Yeah that's not pushing those IAPs. I would not have been too happy if I had paid for this. cloudpuff Well-Known Member Sep 12, 2013 3,600 0 36 lazy layabout uk #15 cloudpuff, Nov 15, 2013 Whats with the eyeroll? You cant be surprised that many people have concerns about the iaps in your game? Can I ask you if the dropping this to free is a temporary offer or will it be permanent? As Ive said in the other thread I do think your game is fun and id be recommending it to everyone if it were not for the iaps and the pushing of them during gameplay. Drummerboycroy Well-Known Member Apr 2, 2012 4,172 0 36 Clinician Maine! #16 Drummerboycroy, Nov 15, 2013 Good luck to everyone else, but that was enough for me. Developer name noted, moving on. DBC awp69 Well-Known Member Oct 30, 2009 8,249 0 36 Greenville, SC #17 awp69, Nov 15, 2013 Agreed. I didn't buy this but if I had I'd be saying the same thing. The game had solid, fun gameplay, but the IAP push is annoying considering it was a paid game. Anyway, that eye roll shows me how unprofessional the dev is when it comes to questions/complaints about the game. And that spells the kiss of death for me when it comes to supporting a dev down the line. It's much more helpful to hear your intentions for the way the game was structured than to immaturely poke fun at one of your own customers. Filing Cabinet Well-Known Member Aug 20, 2011 997 0 16 #18 Filing Cabinet, Nov 17, 2013 The fact that there's an IAP for basic things such as multitouch and double touch (!) makes me approach this game as nothing but a demo. For free it's acceptable. For an otherwise paid game obviously not. Habakuk Well-Known Member Dec 11, 2008 4,779 9 38 Vienna, Austria http://rossau.wordpress.com #19 Habakuk, Nov 17, 2013 Well I can understand everybody's resentments but you could miss something. It's hightech coding by the inventor of the "Match Something (2, 3 )/Tetris" genre. (Frantic Match-2 here.) Exclusive for advanced touchscreens (no external hardware controllers, no clicky/clacky mouses have a chance in this gamealthough Dwice was developed for Windows in 2006 obviously). The most sophisticated arcade feeling of the third millenium believe me. Precision swiping. Some quotes from the main thread, I highlighted some passages: Personally I can say that I have the feeling that the game is more than complete even for one finger (double touch is provided for free when you really need it to complete a level/achievement, read the quoted thread please, more important info here, look how generous devs are ). I literally can't stop playing it. Beating your personal highscore and collecting all stars is completely free. For one finger and sometimes double-touch. Sounds silly, I know, but it's true. Despite all the marketing drawbacks (or not): Very recommended! Wikipedia: Alexey Pajitnov Don't miss this just because devs just made one smiley too much because English is not their native language or because of some other minor misunderstanding. No matter how balanced they are mentally (get over it); the game itself is awesome!
