Hey There, I'm the developer for a new universal iOS shoot 'em/bullet storm survival called Rebel Base. The game is 90-95% complete and i'm looking for a handful of play testers of any age to give me some honest feedback so I can make changes before I release. No problem. I've watched the video, and I really like what I see. The aliens is very different designed from what one usually see in the genre. Nice bullet patterns too. The video only shows gameplay simulated on the iPhone though, which is a worry for me.. Is it universal or is there an iPad release too? I never use my iPhone for gaming myself, not after I became an iPad owner three years ago, so I'm not going to purchase it unless there's an iPad version... Also, this kind of game screams for iCade compatibility, just saying..
Glad you like the video, the game is universal and looks much more impressive on ipad, esp retina....so hang on in there buddy -it has been submitted to Apple now and is waiting for approval. I have 6th March in mind as the release date and It will be FREE to download, there is just 1 IAP which will give the player 3 lives instead of 1 and unlimited use of Matrix smart bombs, I can not see me immplementing iCade support at the moment, currently the controls uses the whole screen rather than simulated joystick as fast precise control is defo needed when the bullets are flying around.
Matrix Smart bomb screen shot... I'm particulary proud of the Matrix Smart bomb effect...esp when the screen is full of bullets.
