This is sort of a ridiculous thread, but this has been bugging me for some time. I've gotten quite a few rpgs on the app store, but I have yet to find anything that's played at all like Shining Force. Have I overlooked any?
If there is one, I'll be all over it the moment of release. Both of the first couple of Shining Force games are some of the greatest games ever made, IMO. I can't imagine how much I'd love a game like that but with a decent story.
If I'm thinking about the same game series as you guys then I gotta say Vay might be the closest one. That kind of games in AppStore would be a jackpot for us old RPG farts.
As far as rpgs go, Shining Force 1 and 2 are my favorites. I'd love to see even a port of them come. I'll check out Vay, thanks for the recommendation.
