    Hi Everyone!

While Mannequin from The Curse is still vexing puzzle solvers, we were busy working with developer Robomodo, under their Robomite division, to create a truly interactive virtual pet for iOS devices. Meet The Beasties: Hello World-

These creatures will learn things the longer they survive. They can preform tricks and learn words you teach it using the microphone.

The game is coming soon and you'll be able to meet each individual Beastie before that!

We're aiming to get this out by the end of the year. So we're really close to the finish line!

Wanted to update everyone about the four starting Beasties you can pick from when the game launches :D

These are some of the concept art that was taken and turned into the 3D characters you see in the trailer above.

Personally, Alfonso is my main Beastie but that's probably because he was the first one created.

    Hey Everyone!

We've been working on The Beasties some and adding more content to trick out your habitat with. The latest update is the Valentine's Update. As you guessed, it'll have all kinds of Valentine's themed items.

The other big news is that we're officially supporting the iPod Touch 4th Gen. We realized how important it was to lots of people here and wanted to deliver the game to that device.

We've also dropped the price of the game to .99 cents

Here is a screenshot of just a few of over a dozen new items to decorate with (as you can tell, Alfonso loves Valentine's Day) -

Doesn't run good on touch 4 but hopefully the developer read my idea to make it playable. It has framrate issues right now.

Yes, the game won't run as smoothly on the iPod Touch 4th Gen as newer devices but we wanted to open up the game for others to play. Improving performance is something we'll be working on with the Beasties as much as we can for older devices.

So when can their be a update that can have touch 4 users actually play this?

We did test the game on the iPod Touch 4th Gen and made the call it was playable though the framerate wasn't as high as new devices. Like I mentioned, we'll be looking at ways we can improve the performance of the game, like the ones you suggested, but I can't promise it'll be as smooth as devices with newer processors and more RAM.

I was able to snag some promo codes for giveaways! Just trying to find a fun way to give them out. Any suggestions?

Well it crashes on mini games and intro and framrate sorta makes it unplayable. As for contest maybe see who can name the starters.

    Sounds good!

The first person to name all of the starter Beasties gets a code for the full game.
