    Hi,

is there any good platformer games available for Apple TV 4K? Don't mind those one button platformers. And what about the remote? Is it good enough for gaming or should I buy a controller? Thanks!

I would start with Rayman, especially if you decide to get a controller. And yes, a controller is a good idea, since you can also use it on an iPad or iPhone. I can vouch for the Horipad Ultimate ($49.95 from Apple)

I'm also interested about the performance of the original remote. We are thinking making our iPhone/iPad platform game for Apple TV 4K. If the controller is needed the amount of players who can play the game would be a lot smaller. Could you squarezero, check out our free game and give me your opinion could the game be playable with Apple TV 4K.

Here is the control scheme we are thinking of:

Dan the Man is a fun action platformer especially if you have an MFI controller.

    +1 for Dan the Man

    Also:

Chameleon Run (one button but still lots of fun)
    Bean Dreams
    Chariot
    All the Sonic games
Deer God (a little different to a usual kind of platformer)

Lost Socks is also fun but pretty hard(!)

And yes I'd recommend getting a controller! I think Apple still might be doing a bundle in stores for a controller + Minecraft (usually $20) for around $50
