Com2Us is creating a homerun derby focused baseball game, the video actually looks pretty slick. Would love to see a full baseball game in the same style, although they've already done 9 Innings. How do baseball announcers tell the difference between a slider and a fastball when announcing games? I can more or less tell a curve ball since it has a looping motion. I'm guessing a change up can be determined by the speedometer. New to baseball. Thanks!

I am part of their team and they told me that there will be no beta due to the game coming out next (this?) week. It was weird when they posted asking for testers after the game was supposedly submitted so I would not expect much.

Com2uS official announcement on Slugger beta test It was a preliminary plan to launch the game this week. However, the plans have been changed to go through a full beta test. Baseball slugger: homerun race 3D will not be launched until a full beta test is completed. The qualifying beta testers will be notified within wednesday, US western time. I am a beta tester but don't know how much I can say...but the online play is awesome, along with the great control system, accelerometer and touch! Its just a great game overall!
The youtube video that arta posted is exactly what the game is. Though faster and smoother now. When batting you'll notice a white area inside your hitbox. That is the contact area for the bat. It moves by the user tilting their device. In actual use I can tell you it works INFINITELY better than d-pad movement on baseball superstars and 9 innings. We're doing a full cycle of testing as well so everyone will have to wait at least a week before it's resubmitted. However that wait will easily be worth it That's about all I can say
Exactly like Arta says, I believe the price of this game will be around 4.99 as there other baseball game is at that price. Only one more week to wait!
I just rewatched the video and the beta is so much better than what it used to be. Tons of both major and minor tweaks have been made!
