I finally feel like I've been inducted as a real developer. Do I get an avatar? Do I get to learn the secret handshake?

What's a real developer? Or what is an unreal developer? :)

I felt like an unreal developer—rather—I plain old didn't feel like a developer. I guess because this is just a part time gig I took up to occupy my travel time and it's quite different from the work I'm used to (in many ways.)

I mean; it feels odd to think someone is pirating my software only because I never expected to have made any software to pirate. Did that make sense? Maybe I am just loopy from sleep depravation.

Many of those pirating websites use automated pirating systems.

Good job though, it isn't easy getting an app out.

Automated? I don't know. It says "cracked by Magick81 <[email protected]>" Why would a computer want credit?

Really? That's a lot of apps.

This is probably because these greedy devs are asking insane amount of money for their apps :)

Personally, when I had my first game hack I felt like a deep sadness.

if you want vengeance, make thousand of very simple games, put it at 99$ and wait.

Don't take care. Have in mind that all the games on the TOP 100 are pirated and still make money.

    I've been there...

We once had a leaked beta on the studio I worked... We sent it to the publisher, and someone there released it... All the files were open, so people could do what they wanted and compile it... :(:(:(

fact is that pirates aren't going to buy your game anyway even if there was no cracked version

Stop spreading these non sense. Not all the people pirating games would buy all their pirated games, but they would buy some if they couldn't pirate them.

PS: I've got 0 pirated games, 0 pirated movies and 0 pirated music, and I'm still alive.

I gotta agree with you here to some extend. Although, I think it's a lot more true when u're talking about a $400 software, Illustrator for example. If Angry Birds wasn't available anywhere else for free, some of 'em would buy it for a dollar.
