Ummmmm no... There was a thread about this rumor a while back and it was proven to be fake. Rockstar would bring the game to the iDevice, not Gameloft. Gameloft just released Gang$tar so why would they first release Chinatown Wars in the upcoming months?
Nope, we're not getting this on the iPhone. Why would gameloft bring a side down shooter to the iPhone when they brought Gang$tar to the iPhone? Aside from the franchise name of course.
Did you even bother looking at the date on that post. I wouldn't of doubted it till they announced the PSP port... So now I seriously doubt it'll ever come over. Anyways about the date June 8th, I think we would of heard more about it by now. (I know it's fake yes)
Actually i think the fact that there porting chinatown wars to psp helps me believe that itll be ported to more portable devices.... I think that since Rockstar is getting so much of Chinatown wars there trying to milk it, with the appstore being last cause of the cheap prices. Not sure, but it was announced as exclusive at first, and now there porting it, same with liberty city stories, announced as exclusive then ported to ps2... I dont fully doubt that Rockstar wont make a gta like game for idevices, it might be chinatown wars, (bully seems more fitting as that MIGHT actually make it through apples approval process.) I dunno, but im pretty sure rockstar sees the iphone as a good portable gaming device and , sooner or later, will make a game for it.
actually bully would be a much funner game on the iphone/ipod i reckon! simply because, well its simpler than GTA and would have no trouble with the approval system
It wasn't, it is actually the worst in the series. GTA3 or Vice City (or their PSP prequels) would be the best ones to bring over.
