Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee was one of the most underrated games of the time. They boldly took the PS1 that everyone was desperate to make 3-D games for and made a 2-D action-puzzler. That game was fantastic, one of my favorites. Then they flushed it all down the drain when trying to bring the franchise into 3-D during the XBox generation. The fools!!!!

Oh well, I would definitely love to see the original on the iPhone. And the farting would go well with the iPhone/iPod core audience, so it'd be a smash hit :D

I don't think I've played the first one come to think of it, just exodus. And they did kinda destroy their rep when they did the 3D stuff. Would love if they also made one for XBL Arcade

DOH! I was lured by this thread into thinking that it was coming out for the iDevice!

It would be neat to see this adapted for the iDevice. I think the puzzly nature of the levels could be cool, as long as the player isn't required to move Abe around with pinpoint precision.

@NomaD- How does the game play on the emulator, btw?

Yeah, I got fooled too! :p I never got around to playing either of the first two PS1 Oddworld games... I'd love it if I could have my chance on the iPhone.

I think this Threat or more Abe deserves to be resurrected.
