There should be a list of iDevice game soundtracks. I don't think there is one yet. Here is what I know.

    - The Edge soundtrack is here.
    - The Underworlds soundtrack is here.
    - The link to the Zen Bound soundtrack can only be accessed from within the game. You can, however, download another Ghost Monkey album for free.
    - The Trace soundtrack is in iTunes, here.
    - The Ivory Tiles music mostly came from this album, and the lone Cheng Yu piece can be found on this album.
    - Most of the Rolando music is on this album. A couple songs are from this album. And then the one dannys95 calls the Rolando theme music is here.
    - Get the music from Jelly Car, here.
    - Crayon Physics! music is here.
    - The Hot Dog Down a Hallway soundtrack (seriously) is here.
    - Little Red Sled soundtrack: get it here.

    Honorable mentions:
    - World of Goo! (Not idevice, but it's probably the best soundtrack since Mario Galaxy)

Anyway, add links you know about and I will include them in the first post.

does anybody know how to convert audio format .caf to mp3, wav, or ogg....?

btw, if you open any .ipa file with winrar you'll get all game files, including music :)

.caf files can actually BE mp3 files (.caf isn't a real format per se). Try switching the .caf to .mp3... If the file is something else, you may use afconvert. Google around to see how it works.

EDIT: Winrar leads me to believe you aren't on a mac. Disregard the afconvert in that case. :(รค

btw, Wooden Labyrinth 3D's soundtrack is available here: http://qvik.fi/como_el_agua_en_su_piel.mp3

Trace Soundtrack is up for sale on iTunes (see sig).

Gomi Soundtrack will be up there as soon as I finish mastering it (possibly before the actual game is released :), but for now you can listen to the entire unmastered version on my website (also, see sig, my name links to my music website)

About pulling the music files from the game packages - keep in mind that many games, ours included, compress the ingame mp3's a lot to take up less game resources. If the composer has it up for sale somewhere, chances are that it will be worth buying seperately for the much higher bitrate :)

exactly. or for download, after having to compress the zen bound soundtrack heavily to make it fit snugly in the package it was a relief to be able to let people download it in excellent 320bit quality. i have to admit i was secretly kind of happy to see some parasite post a torrent of that online and not a ripped version :)

mind you, the same also applies in reverse, if i ever wanted to sell some ghost monkey music i'd used in a game or some other project, i'd take care not to put good quality versions of it online or in the apps, that'd devaluate the paid offering.

What I like to call the "Rolando Theme Music" is actually available on iTunes and in kick butt quality. It's called "Spandex Man" from Mr. Scruff.

True. The important thing is that the metadata was intact. I could then find the album(s) the music came from.

I added your link to the Trace soundtrack in the first post.

The list has been updated. I added spacecow's latest suggestions and Hot Dog Down a Hallway.
