Yeah, the best were mentioned: Hellraid and Forever Lost. I'd like to add: Cabin Escape - Alice's Story Escape the Hellevator (a really great game) Knock-Knock (not directly a room escape, but good). Well, it just became a "Free + IAP Unlock" model, but yeah...it's a little annoying. Pirate, check out The Trace.
As mc said, Hellevator comes for free so you can try the first episode, after that it is a single unlock ($1.99). I really liked Hellevator because you're re-living the sins the protagonist did in life. The horror pictures about the things that happened are just inside your mind. Very cool.
Oh, I just remember, maybe you should also check out Appunwrapper's blog. She has quite a thing for puzzle and room escape games and has lots of recommendations in the blog.
