I played Zenonia and enjoyed its RPG elements and storyline. I did not finish the game because the endless 'grinding' became incredibly frustrating.

Seed and Inotia 2 both look like good but equally complex and frustrating.

I'm looking for a more casual RPG game to play on the bus.

    Suggestions?

Inotia 2 is the best rpg now. The party system is just awesome.

I know what you mean about grinding as the exact same thing happened to me (gave up playing for the endless grinding which makes up for 90% of the gameplay). All I can say is I don't feel any grinding at all in Inotia, partly because of the party system (having fun with different classes and strategy) but most importantly the balance is just right.

The graphics are sharp (not blurry like in Zenonia and Seed) and it doesn't have any cheesy dialogues like An-way and stuffs.

    Thanks Don.

Anyone else agree / disagree with this?

if you like more action based RPGs, get seed.
if you like more 'RPGish' RPGs, then get inotia.
then again, either way, get seed as it's free!

For something that's quick and dirty go with dungeon hunter. Inotia is good in the begining but entails a significant amount of grinding in the later stages.

Adding another vote for Yipe 5. You mentioned casual and this is casual yet challenging at the same time. The dialogue is hilarious and had me laughing out loud. I am on my second play through as I wanted to try it as a different class. It stands out in the RPG class with so many unique touches.

Ignore what people say about a brand new game (Yipe5). You always get tons of people still riding the hype before a game has been out long enough to see if people are still playing it.

I'm surprised you thought Zenonia was grindy. For all the action RPGs I've played, that was the only one that I could go from dungeon to dungeon w/o having to repeat rooms for loot/XP.

I vote Dungeon Hunter! I think it's a great game to play for some quick fun on the bus. :)

But the only rpg I have time for right now is Final Fantasy 13! I just got my copy from play asia! So everything else is about to get neglected lol :D

I'd say that if a casual RPG is what you want and don't mind a bit of dungeon crawling go with Sword of Fargoal especially for the price it is on sale for. It is more than worth it.

Get Inotia 2, can't go wrong with it. It is the most complex RPG right now, with features no other RPG has.
Dungeon Hunter is probably the worst RPG ever created for the iDevice. Horrible controls, most cliched story, and gameplay can't get more linear and simpler. -.-'; Oh and it has excessively frequent and long loading times for such a short game. Oo
