Room Escape, the newest app from 1026 Development is coming soon to the App Store. It is an escape the room type game. You are locked in an office and have to solve the puzzle to find your way out.

Cool has it been submitted yet? The music sounds like iShoot and Hottrix videos =P

EDIT: Whoa it is the music from Hottrix tutorials. But I know it's not made by them now lol

The music was actually composed of Garage Bands loops, they probably used the same type of loops in their videos.

Believe it or not, I hate them, I can never figure them out.

I am currently wavering between it being Free or 99¢.

Room Escape just entered the beta phase. I hope to have it submitted to Apple by the weekend.

If you think a person can't finish the game in under 30 minutes make it 99 cents.

I love room escape games. Problem is replayability. If possible, try and create multiple levels to ensure gameplay.

I can never solve them, so I hate them. This one, I can solve, usually in about 3-4 minutes :), so I enjoy it.

Okay, thanks for all the info. I vote for keep it free for an introductory price, then after a few days, make it $0.99.

Thanks for all the kind words folks. My beta testers are having a blast with it. They said it was too easy at first, so I added a couple more loops to jump through. I hope to put the finishing touches on tonight and get it out the door.

i say make it free, sounds like its just the one level and like you said, you hate these games because they are hard so you made an ultra easy one you can solve in a few mins.

It also helps me to solve it fast because I know the answers to the puzzles. I doubt I could solve it if I didn't have the walk through in front of me.

    Why do that?

I mean...from a consumer's standpoint, yeah, great deal for us...but for the dev, not so sweet.

The most interested potential consumers will be among the early adopters...but you'd be giving it away for free to those folks, and there's no guarantee he'd pull any revenue later on in the process.
